Training Fairs

Objective: To provide a one-day Training Fair (in 2 locations) for a variety of VIVA products for our members.
Who should attend?  Reference and Bibliographic Instruction personnel at VIVA institutions.

Travel: VIVA will reimburse VIVA members from the public institutions for their travel to and from this meeting. Librarians from private institutions who serve as session facilitators will also be reimbursed for their travel. See the VIVA travel guidelines for further information.
Registration: Space is limited. Current list of Participants. We have 149 VIVA member participants, including representatives of 11 private institutions, 40 public colleges and universities, and 1 Associate Member. (as of 3/5/00)

campus map (in both gif and pdf formats) are available. Jepson Hall is #17 on both maps. Park in the lot at Ryland Circle and Gateway Road.

Campus guide includes directions and parking information. Visitors will need a parking pass, obtained at the Visitor Information Center.
Accommodations: Accommodations recommended by U of R. Accommodations recommended by VPI. A block of rooms is reserved at the Donaldson Brown Conference Center ($69 = on-site lodging).
What should you bring? 150 copies of your institution's Training materials if you wish to share them. 50 copies of your institution's Training materials if you wish to share them.
