VIVA EBSCO Training

Join the VIVA Resources for Users Committee and EBSCO for a summer training session. Ten hands-on workshops for VIVA librarians will be held at five locations around the state. The half-day session will be held twice at each location, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. The agenda for each training day is:

9 AM Morning Session Registration
9:30-11:30 Session 1 (morning session registrants)
11:30-1:00 Lunch (all registrants)
12:30 Afternoon Session Registration
1:00-3:00 Session 2 (repeat of session 1, afternoon session registrants)

Please register early as space is limited. Registration deadlines (where available) are noted below. To register, please contact viva@gmu.edu and give the name, institution, and email of each person attending, and the date, location, and session (Be sure to choose morning or afternoon) of training. Also note if a vegetarian lunch option is preferred.

Wednesday, July 9

Tidewater Community College, Portsmouth

Training Location:Training will be in the Main Building, Room 829. Registraion and lunch will be in the North Mall Meeting room.

Radford University, Radford

Registration Deadline: July 8

Training Location: Training will be in McConnell Library, Classroom B (Room 380).  This is on Level 3, the entrance level of the library.  Go past the Reference Desk toward the rear of the building; follow signs for Classroom B.
