Objective: To discuss the VIVA ILL Guidelines and ILL issues related to VIVA ILL cooperation throughout the Commonwealth. The goal of the forum is to further strengthen ILL understanding, communication, and success in our VIVA ILL community.
Who should attend?  ILL personnel at VIVA institutions.
Agenda:              9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Coffee/tea
10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Introduction, VIVA ILL History (Large group)
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Issues (Small groups)
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Report of Issues (Large group)
12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Lunch and Recommendations (Small groups)
2:15 - 3:30 p.m. Summation and Recommendations (Large group)

Travel:

VIVA will reimburse VIVA members from both the public and the private institutions for their travel to and from this meeting. If you need to stay overnight, there are several reasonable hotels in the area:

Best Western Mount Vernon (804/296-5501), US 29 & US 250 Bypass, govt. rate is $47.70.

Cavalier Inn Best Western (804/296-811), 105 N. Emmet Street, walking distance to campus, govt. rate is $56,

Omni (800/ 843-664) 235 Main St. govt. rate is $56,

Red Roof Inns (804/295-433), 1309 Main Street, walking distance to campus, $57.99.

The state's maximum allowable for the lodging rate is $56 before taxes, and the M&IE rate for Charlottesville is $42. See the VIVA travel guidelines for further information.
