Who Should Attend?

VIVA members involved in planning for digital resources management and access integration

Objectives:

  • Obtain a basic understanding of digital resources management and access integration (discovery to delivery) from public, technical, and managerial perspectives.
  • Share information about local initiatives.
  • Provide a planning framework for VIVA directors

Content:

  • ABC's of managing e-serials and other digital materials
  • Overview of reference linking and federated searching
  • Opportunities for VIVA
  • Consortial and institutional perspectives

Registration:

Travel:

VIVA will reimburse members from public institutions for their travel to and from this meeting. For reimbursement of overnight travel expense, you must be more than 2.5 hours from Sweet Briar, and you must have prior approval from VIVA (viva@gmu.edu).

The state rate for lodging is $55. We have reserved a block of rooms for those who need to arrive on Wednesday
