Objective: Learn to catalog Internet resources. The program combines lecture, discussion, and hands-on cataloging, using current MARC and AACR standards, and related guidelines. Instructors will address serials, monographs, and serial-like publications.
Who should attend?  Experienced catalogers at VIVA public institutions are invited to register. Enrollment is limited to 32.  If your library can send one staff member, please consider training other staff using the sources cited below.
What should I bring? Bring your OCLC authorization and URL's for one or more accessible Internet resources to catalog.  VIVA will provide a boxed lunch and workshop materials.
