The following resources are available to users at VIVA member institutions. VIVA member institutions include all of Virginia's public colleges and universities, as well as some non-profit colleges and universities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Users not affiliated with a VIVA member institution should contact their own institution or their local public library to determine which resources they have access to through their own library.

Users accessing resources from off-campus should go through their library's website in order to be allowed access to the resources.

    Nearly 290 alternative, radical and left periodicals, newspapers and magazines that report and analyze the practices and theories of cultural, economic, political and social change. The coverage in the database currently extends back to 1991.

    English Poetry, 600-1900, contains poems in English from Anglo-Saxon times to the end of the nineteenth century by writers from the British Isles. It covers the works of 1,257 named poets and many items by different anonymous hands.
