Contract Dates:
The VIVA contract is officially effective as of July 1, 2008, but access began June 2, 2008. The contract can be renewed for 9 more years, subject to approval.

Credits or Refunds
VIVA members should contact the EBSCO inside sales representative to make arrangements for the the credit or refund for any local subscriptions superceded by the VIVA contract.

Second point of contact for the VIVA contract as well as individual site contact for all EBSCOhost db's. Because Sharon is an "inside rep," she is sometimes easier to contact when David is "in the field" on calls or training.
- Customer and Technical Rep: Nicholas (Nick) Lombardi, Customer Account Specialist Phone: 800-653-2726 ext: 2634 Email: nlombardi@EBSCOhost.com Nick is our Customer Account Specialist for EBSCO Publishing working out of our Ipswich, MA office. First point of contact for all technical questions / issues for EBSCOhost databases. Nick has worked with many sites on account set-up, questions, concerns or issues that may come up. He will be a great resource for the "what if" and the "can we" questions.

In addition to his calls around the commonwealth to individual sites, Steve will also assist with training and questions. He is also a great general point of contact to reach anyone in EBSCO... Steve always knows the right person to call and how to find them if needed.

Working with our Virginia team Pam will lead most of the larger on-site trainings for EBSCOhost and EBSCOadmin within the Commonwealth.

Working with only Community Colleges in Virginia, Carla will assist David and Steve in trainings, questions and issues for EBSCO products.
Newspaper Source Plus and Serials Solution
Newspaper Source Plus database currently (as of July 17, 2008) cannot be linked into via a service such as Serials Solutions, that is why the URL is not working correctly via Serials Solutions. The database does not have a title list, which is needed for linking from a service such as Serials Solutions. There is an Enhancement Request to change this in the near future, but for the time being you would need to use a direct link for accessing the database.
