Announcements

IAC stats still do not include ALL VIVA schools. IAC is working to correct that problem (which involves several of the schools changing the URL for the IAC products). We hope that these more complete statistics will be available from mid-August forward. We will keep you informed. (8/12/98)
CSA now has a web page for institutional statstics. Each institution has its own password. User Services Contacts should contact Anne Nolan if you do not know your local password for CSA . (8/5/98)
OED stats have been added for these periods: February - August 1997 and January - July 1998. For the matching six month periods (February - July), we have seen a 43% increase in total VIVA use: 57,242 in 1997 and 82,050 in 1998. We will load the rest of the 1997 stats when (if) they are available. (8/11/98)
IDEAL stats for June 1998 Logins have been added. Although we now see an improved response time, the overall statistics for logins during the January - June 1998 period appear to be slightly less than those for the previous six months (for the public institutions) -- due to the vendor's loss of data during April and May 1998 months. (8/6/98)
The format for the IAC/Searchbank Stats have been revised. Monthly figures for Sessions and Hours have been rounded to whole numbers and the size of the type for those columns is reduced. We are still missing stats for several VIVA schools, but IAC is working on providing us with more complete information. (7/29/98)

DOW JONES ACADEMIC VIVA Summary Pages 1997 - 1998	Monthly totals of logons and hours for aggregated use by all VIVA (public and independent) institutions.
FIRSTSEARCH OCLC Usage Statistics Page Each institution has its own passwords.	OCLC statistics represent monthly use of each database for each institution.
IDEAL (Academic Press) IDEAL - Academic Press User id: XXXXXXXXXX Password:XXXXXXXXXX VIVA Summary Pages 1997: January - June 1997: July - December 1998: January- June	IDEAL displays monthly statistics representing Login Reports (for both main and mirror sites) and PDF Download Reports (for both sites). Our summary pages are for logins only.
SEARCHBANK (IAC) VIVA Summary Pages 1996: May - June July 1996 - June 1997 July 1997 - June 1998	Statistics represent monthly logons/sessions and hours for each institution. Detailed monthly reports are emailed to each VIVA collections and user services contact. Stats through June 1998 are incomplete, since not all VIVA schools were included.
